About Us
As the demand for quality local food increased, the shop expanded & in 2008 the shop was refurbished and extended to include a new butchery, delicatessen & a café. It is very much a family business with Paul & Jenny’s son & daughter, Tim & Emma both involved; Tim & his wife Naomi manage the shop & Emma manages the Café.

The Reynolds family have farmed at Allington Bar Farm, near Chippenham, as tenants, for 3 generations.
Allington Farm Shop was first opened by Paul & Jenny Reynolds in 1981 in a small garage in what is now the shop car park selling potatoes and eggs produced on the farm. The shop was moved into a purpose built building which remains part of the shop today and began to become well known for its good quality meat and fresh fruit and vegetables.
The foot and mouth outbreak in 2001 caused a severe downturn in customer numbers and the family considered closing the shop. However, after the outbreak, consumers began to become more interested in where their food was coming from and new customers began shopping at the farm shop.
